Silibinin, a flavonoid derived from milk thistle, reduce cancer cell lines. It reduced the cell proliferation and suppressing cell cycle progression, increasing apoptosis (programmed death of cancer cells), and altering the chromatin structure of cancer cells. - Dale Kiefer.
